Fatigue
|
Fatigue affects many patients
having radiation therapy. The stress of illness
and the daily visits to the cancer center may
contribute to feeling tired. The fatigue is
temporary. Some patients don’t experience an
increase in fatigue.
If you feel tired, limit your physical activity to
comfortable levels, and allow time for additional
rest. You may continue to work with the approval
of your radiation oncologist as long as you pace
yourself so you don’t become overly tired.
