Limit Alcohol Consumption

Limit alcohol consumption, and you'll reduce your risk of cancer in your mouth, jaw, cheek, throat, esophagus, tonsils, liver, and pancreas. Any one of the seven warning signals could be a symptom.

Plan of action: Limit alcohol intake to one to two drinks per day, especially if you smoke. Heavy usage of liquor, wine, or beer is believed to increase risk.
